MILSTEIN HALL OF OCEAN LIFE

The museum’s Hall of Ocean Life with iconic Blue Whale reopened in 2003 after an extensive renovation. The expansive hall features eight ocean ecosystems in the upper level and 14 classic dioramas on the lower level, containing models of more than 750 sea creatures. Backlit label decks and other graphic panels provide information and quirky facts about the species contained within.
